Judy Sorum Brown is a speaker, writer, poet and educator in private practice whose work revolves around the themes of leadership, change, creativity, learning, diversity, dialogue, and renewal. She has served as a leadership faculty member of the graduate school of Public Policy at the University of Maryland, and teaches executives through its Office of Executive programs. She was Senior Fellow of the James MacGregor Burns Academy of Leadership and Senior Fellow of the Center for Public Policy and Private Enterprise. She was for many years involved in the education programs of the University's National Center for Smart Growth Research and Education. She launched the executive programs of the University of Maryland Business School where she served as Assistant Dean. She was selected as a White House Fellow and served as Special Assistant to the Secretary of Labor.
