Bread for the Journey

People often ask me if I offer open enrollment programs that they can sign up for and generally, the answer is no. But, coming up this fall I am co-hosting an open workshop--Bread for the Journey--which brings together poets and poetry lovers to explore the renewing power of poetry in our lives. A weekend in the mountains of northern Pennsylvania at Kirkridge Retreat Center. This is an opportunity to explore poetry as a form of self-expression and a way to shift perspective both as a writer and a reader. Among the poets in attendance will be long-time friend and colleague Mark Nepo. For me the great joy of this gathering is that it brings together two threads of my life--poetry and leadership.
